Jeesh. I wish someone would tell the roos that spring is over! I'm sick of the hormones with mine too. Chicken jail is improving him, but i was holding the neighbor's hen and he tried to attack me again He HATES those girls. Never seen a roo who didin't like as many girls as he could get??? They don't have a roo, so not sure what's up with that. Back to jail for him, the girls don't seem to mind at all, LOL

Star is still under the weather and i'm getting worried. Still pushing liquids, but the mass isn't shrinking.

XD Nope. I dreamed about literally witnessing a tornado touchdown in the neighbor's yard... XD That dream was terrifying!

Fuzzy... Have you any garlic? Minced garlic and olive oil. I had to do that with Veena when she got impacted crop the firt fall that I had birds... Anyway, worked great. The garlic helps sour crop. Go figure. Probiotics in the water too.

Don't know what to tell you about Henry... Florus was on the verge of becoming stew there for a bit, but he's settled down A LOT. Although, he did just get his glass kicked again by Rod Stewart on Sunday. I found him hiding in the nest box! LOL Poor boy.

Tomorrow the eggs are due to start hatching. I looked through the windows tonight, no pips. Not hearing and peeping either. OH! I wish they were like under a broody, just reach under and listen to the eggs one by one... Can't do that with incubator eggs.

I worked on a little 4x4 run for the chicks. It is going to be COMPLETELY secure. I got the bottom of the frame done, then put the 1x2 welded fencing attached to that for the bottom. I also have 15 feet of hardware clothe to be able to keep anything from reaching through that fencing! These babies are going to stay safe as long as possible until chickenstock. I am going to be finishing the thing up tomorrow. Will show pics of it then.

I have a monster of a headache that is not wanting to relent. So, have a nice night all.

The worst part was, when I ran into the house, screaming, "TORNADO!", everyone was pale and white, very dead-looking... It was so weird. If you want to know the full thing, let me know, but, long story short, I woke up and my pillows were soaked in sweat!
