Hi everyone

I am picking the wrong time to head to town. I know a gluten for punishment! I'm about out of chick food so no choice. Do you think the birds will like a flock block for Christmas? But I'll be dang if I am going to wrap it!
As Lon as I am going in I may as well get stuff for cookie making and save another trip in.
Speaking of cookies here's another recipe.......

Almond Cookies

1 cup butter 1/3 cup sugar
1 2/3 cup sifted flour 3/4 cup finely chopped almonds

Cream butter and sugar. Gradually add flour and almonds.
Chill dough. Roll between hands until pinkie finger think about 3 - 4 inches long.
Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
Will be a light golden brown and very delicate.

I noticed in Silvers profile she hasn't even been on in a few days, hope all is ok

Jace and I were leaving to go to school this morning, and I had picked up some buscuits that were on clearence for the birds to give to them on the way out. Well anyway, I hear this little tiny full out crow coming from the garage. AND I am thinking, Roger Jr. Doesn't sound like that... Wonder which it is, is it Soledad or Pat... Open the garage and Roger Jr crows, then Pat crows his little heart out. Just kept belting it out. I tell you, If he doesnt' get any louder, I might have a crow to try and patent! No one would ever know you had a rooster!
