Fuzzy's Farm

Yes, I think they can depending on severity and if there is a rupture or something that will cause an infection from the bacteria going into your bloodstream. Can't think of what it's called.

Nova, have you even looked at other "rooster" art? Most of the art i see is cheesy, and has no heart/ life in it.

Takes a real animal person to capture that spirit, whether on camera or paper. I get lucky sometimes and am able to catch it on camera. I do art, but with all the business lately haven't been able to channel that side of me. And i like your style, i am pretty critical and won't buy something that's as good as or better as i could do. You may have me whupped :D I Haven't done my rooster and hen's portrait yet. But i for sure can't just sit down and do that kind of drawing like you do! Maybe when i was younger.

I gotta go and get some work done, later! I don't work this weekend so hopefully will be able to keep up ;)

bye tee, i'm sure the gang will show up now that i'm leaving

I made a baby... out of clay today and I am now using my new paints... I am still not use to them.
Everything goes on one thin thin thin layer at a time... I like to see results too soon... so I am not doing good

What a waste... I will post pics later.

I'm sorry, Fuzzy, that you are getting comments on the way you do things. Just hang in there. You have more knowledge of birds than most people I know.

Not at ALL, BYFM! You've got a hit on your hands. I think it's great! Wish I could do something that creative...

Love the roosters, Nova. They are so lifelike. Most of the rooster art I see are almost caricatures. They don't look real at all.

Well, DH and I went out to give Maggie her antibiotic injection and her cod liver oil/vit C/Probios mixture. I straddle her as she's only about 25" tall and grab her horns so DH can pour the cod liver oil mixture down her throat using a needless syringe. Now Maggie may be short but she's a very stout little goat. First thing I know she's reared up and sends me flying back to land on my hello. Thankfully the straw was about a foot deep but as I'm trying to sit up, the Little Guy comes and jumps in my lap sending me back into the hay. Then Puck decides to see if my hair is edible which Yosi doesn't like so he jumps over me and butts him. So I've got one goat on my lap and another trying swallow my hair and a third trying to clamber over me. DH was laughing so hard I thought he was going to fall down too. I finally managed to roll free of goats, get to my feet and we cornered Maggie in a corner where she got her shot and her drench. We have to continue this fiasco for three days only I'm headed to see my Dad for the next two days so DH is all on his own. I can only pray...
