Awww! cute pics, fuzzy babies and fuzzy orloffs
I want the orloffs, just don't know where i could put the roo. Do they like picked up at all?
I am on tinter hooks tonight, we cut a pop door into the floor of the coop. It was hot and in a fit of desperation i left it open and drove back to my parent's, now i'm sitting here stressing over possible coon attack.
Should have gotten the bottom fencing more secure, scared now. I only saw 3 of the neighbor's birds, but didn't think much about it until i got here. One of them is a bird that looks like an orloff with the color and the spangles, but doesn't have the beard; the name escapes me. She's a friendly girl and has decided to let me pick her up and hold her. If any birds come up dead over there i just may have to adopt her and pay them when they come back for the winter. I think someone's shutting up the coop over there at night, but don't know for sure and i don't want to get blamed if anything is out of place when they get back! Their birds come running when i pull in and i feed them already anyway, it's sad because i didn't want to get attached and then i went and did it. :/
My friend that has birds has BANTAM favorolles, Nova. I'm too exausted right now and i'm not remembering names, but she got them from Randy and has a cute little pair. The girl isn't laying yet, i don't know how to tell if she's old or young really. If she does lay i know i could get some eggs from her, too if you want, nudge nudge
