Aw, Nova. Sorry about Scatter. When you first posted that she was sick, I was hoping she'd get better for you. She was the one that always seemed to be hatching out chicks on you.

Future faverolle cockerel... will he be dinner, or a breeder?...

And what photo display wouldn't be right with out Florus?

Nope!
Just worked really hard all weekend!!!
Craft show on Saturday
Went to the flea market in Royal Oak, groomed, planted my mothers day flowers!!!

No news is good news, I guess.

No. I've been a bit busy the last few days with work, errands and stuff. I feel so far behind! I still need to move the broody whose eggs should hatch within a few days. Still working on getting the garden in and mowing. AND we have to clean up the house super big time because we have an important meeting on Tuesday and they need to see our home.
And wouldn't you know it, but DHs family chose today for a Mother's Day/Spring Birthday dinner in Frankenmuth. DH, both DDs, and I went early so we could shop around before the dinner. After all, if I'm going to drive 2 hours to eat food I better be able to do something fun while I'm at it for the whole day, too. Right? DH was good about it. We kept him plied with fudge, ice cream, and assorted goodies for being a good sport while we browsed and took photos around town.

Oh, and for those who know the reputation of the east side, I drove through the sw city limits of Saginaw twice. And survived! I had direction going east, but didn't know that the streets were one way so didn't have any for the return. I kept my eyes glued to the road signs for M46 while DH was commenting to us about the barred windows and doors and various rundown houses. Not a place for getting out and asking directions.

Good gads was it hot today!. Had a pooper of a Sunday delivery. Was trying to get thru with the water pump as it is till next week.. Not doing... Its a $30 part... So gonna get to it. Ug.

Birds were wing out today... Wish there had been a breeze, woulda made it nicer. We hit 93° here where I am. In May... Better than frost I guess. Gonna get the maters and cukes in two-this week. Made a big banana puddin tonight too. I shared. That caused me pain... Lol

Sibil, sorry about The Daf...

Hi everyone
frow.gif

Ya' all know I usually don't have much to say anyway.
Been busy lately. Outside yard work and all. Robin drag me off to an auction. And I didn't even buy anything. Thought I had enough with 3 brooder boxes full and more eggs in the incubator.
Having to get busy building coops. I swore I wouldn't raise chicks in the basement again after the mess (chicken dust) but did I listen to myself? NO I didn't.
Boy how time flies Silver I thought you just set those eggs.
gigi sorry you having a hard time having to deal with your dad's stuff.
To everyone that has lost birds or is having a hard time dealing with stuff
