My pattern, i eye balled it and use snaps. Easier than trying to ease a rubber strap the wrong way against the flow of the wing feathers! Metal snaps are best. Decent size, so the roo can't unsnap them with his weight.

I'm still working on a new and improved chicken diaper I have big ideas! Such niceties as being able to change out the ick without having to undo a whole suit! And upping the cute factor.

Hello everyone, fuzzy so sorry about your baby, we fall in love with them. I feel for you. Well I have the one bantam Sister setting on 11 eggs, two marans have went broody too tired of fighting with them over eggs. So one has 11 that I know of and the other I'm not sure? So guess I'm having baby's again! Only good thing is chicks hatched by mamas are EASY they take care of them. Just got to move them to another nest the ones they are in are high up, and chicks might commit suicide, sooo they are gonna make me work a little. Put the ducks in with big hens yesterday, so far so good. Old Sam my meanie rooster is scared of them! Lol... But he's still giving hens a time of it. Guess everyone is having trouble with over zealous rooster this spring? Have good night everyone!

Hi Fuzzy. Doing okay in my corner. I'm just busy with house and garden stuff right now so there really isn't anything too interesting to relate. How's the trailer coming? We went through Coopersville (that's where you're at, right?) the other day on our way to Countryside Greenhouse. Got some nice hanging baskets for around the house since that seems to be the only way I can have flowers due to the chickens using any I plant as snack food.

Hi ya'll. Not having a grand ole day here. Jeep is still giving me serious problems. The new gasket is already blown, and I have a sick polish. I think the phoenix may have not been letting her eat. Well, she is in the house now, and I had to force feed her she is so weak. I hope she makes it through the night. We'll see. I am crossing my fingers, she is SOOOO pretty.

I am really thinking of buying a new car now. Selling the jeep to someone who know's what the hey they are doing...

I had a NN sizzle hatch yesterday... DS named him BBQ
BBQ barely made it 24 hours. He was healthy and strong but got smooshed by his bio mom/ his hatch mom while his bio mom was laying her egg in the nesting box

Never even got a picture of him

We burried him under some flowers that my mom gave me. RIP BBQ
His hatch mate, Over Easy, is fairing well so far after hatching this afternoon.

Got the coop cleaned out today, some flowers planted, and bought chicken food... Hung out with my mom for most of the day

Shawarma was such a nasty twitch when she hatched her baby, I had hoped Pattie would get a little fight in her.

This morning I moved her and her new baby out to the tractor by themselves. Now she won't have to fight for her baby and she can relax with him all alone!

Shawarma is trying to go broody again

I hate her when she is broody! I do want to give her more eggs though... Oooooohhhh I am so bad!!!! BF would kill me!!!!!

I think Omlette is a roo... comb and wattles are red already
