Hello all, been doing some more tear-out work on the camper coop the last couple days. Getting the back half down to bare bones, so when i go to re-do the walls and ceiling i am ready.
This new group of birds isn't as confident in the waist-height window perch as my old group was, so i took the double perch apart and left one down for sunning and put one up at eye level for the little scaredy cats. Hopefully they stay on that to sleep instead of pooping all over the nest boxes!

OH... I am so glad this day is almost over. You'd think my mom would go ahead and do the darn dishes since I worked last night and this afternoon, cooked dinner and cleaned up the mess the kids made while I was at work... But not. She just came to remind me, like I am a gad dog kid. I am 38 freaking years old. What the hello is wrong with this woman!?

I picked up two pumpkins from a roadside stand today. A buck a peice. Good size pumpkins, very meaty. Not the usualy slimy insides that you find with store pumpkins. Needless to say, there are no guts left to the pumpkins, and they were working on the meat when the light began to fade. I think I should have gotten some more, but I only had ten bucks on my person. I had to dig through the change in my ashtray to find two bucks. Well anyway, I hope I don't have yucky poop boards in the morning. LOL. But hope the pumpkin treatment will make them think better of me since I didn't let them have the cat food dish this afternoon.

Might be better off wed. I wanted to meet tomorrow, but i got to thinking that i ought to put in apps on Mon........ and DH decided to wait until i was leaving him at the property (he's camping so he gets an early start hunting, tradition) to inform me that i needed to pick him up tomorrow so he could get the bills around, but he has no idea when he's getting out of the woods. I said what about my friend? Blank looks.

I may as well be talking to the wall, sometimes! I borrowed money to put the apps in, told him about it multiple times, and told him multiple times about my resume troubles, then how excited i was when i got one done, and how i wanted to put some in Mon/ Tues, but today i get blank looks ???? Then he asked me how i was going to afford to get there? I don't get it. I'ts all i've talked of for 2 weeks now!

OK, done venting. See, i'm smiling again
