Fuzzy's Farm

I am so very tired, my eyes are burning.

Silver, when you finally do decide to come up, give a far enough advance warning. HEHE. I need to have gas money.

Speaking of gas, I think I finally have enough to get my LP filled. Good thing too. I am below 5%! Thats not good. I hope it lasts until they get here. I told my ma, fast fast shower. Water off while you are soaping up. My hot water heater is on LP.... LOL Never knew I could take a 5 minute shower. SO very sucks, I love to run the hot water out.

My board is a calendar... It is easier to write on and if plans change it is easy to wipe them off!!!
BF still has no idea what is going on day to day...
I love when he asks "Do we have something going on this weekend?" and he gets all flustered when I told him about the plans weeks before and they have been posted on the board since I told him...Men

scroll down, there are several examples..........really cute! You need some dilute gene to get that color, there are a few ways to do it and no one really understands it well, but one way you can try to get the dillute gene is by crossing a silver with a buff, but depending on your particular buff's genetics you may or may not get it.

I essentially DID cross a silver with a buff, if i am correct in my guess that my hens are blue-buff color!

Supposing i did get it, i don't understand what i would have to do next to get the lemon? That's my topic of research the last week or so.........

I have one...It is on the fridge... He still doesn't read it!!!
Oh no. Mine is giganto huge and hung in a very no miss spot. I had to refer him to it a few times when I first put it up, but he's a regular board reader now.
If I had one of them boards, it would be pointless. I do everything. I don't think I need a board to remind me to do stuff. I have my mom for that... Ha... Yeah.
LOL. Sorry Nova. I only put kid activities, appointments and my route info on the board so DH can't say he never knew. It's more of a 'I told you' board for him and thank goodness he's paying attention. He was driving me crazy.

Look at the pair from denmark most of the way down; my roo looked a lot like that! His polka dots weren't so well defined, but still.............

Gee. I just got lost after my last post. We seem to have flipped a page during it.

Anyway, we have lost our BO Ms. Waddles. Poor girl was laying in the middle of the yard. I found her when I went out to throw a few treats to the flock. I tend to toss in different directions and when I turned to throw behind me, I saw her. It was sad, but not totally unexpected. She had seemed off for the past 2 days. I even found her in the coop the other night lying on the floor and I thought she was dead then, but she looked up when I called out to her. Poor Ms.W was our bird that had the limp in her walk for no reason we knew of. She was fine in every way, but the limp, so we just let her be. She was one of our original flock and only 1 1/2yrs. I have yet to tell my daughter who just loved Ms.W (she named her). I'm pretty sure it was a natural cause death as I didn't see anything injured, bleeding or pesty on her.
