I can't remember his name, but one of the "greats" in the tech world was really bipolar. And odd. He didn't like to bathe, but washed his feet often in the company toilet. Multi-billionaire! Typical "brooding artist"
I tried to put the article on the coop wall to remind me that anything's possible, but the chickens found it............ :D

Interview's tomorrow. Nothing like a little suspense!
At least i got do do a trial run of my morning routine.
 
Ok... Maybe now I can actually chit chat. LOL.

Kid is home from school today. He's hacking and snotting. Figured he'd be better off at home than getting everyone else in class ill. Time to start him on immunity boosters.

We had corn fest here this morning. I only got 6 eggs yesterday, so I went ahead and got the higher protien starter grower feed for winter months and a bag of corn. Threw out a few handfuls of corn and let the festivities begin. The CS birds, well 3 of them even made their way to the front of the house to join in the feast.

Supposed to get pretty nice here today too. I got a load up on the line drying. It is supposed to be warmer (60's) tomorrow, but with wind added. SO, going to get clothes on the line then too. Well, sheets and blankets.

I think it is time to start getting the materials I need for the run...
 
Been playing this morning with outfits. Now i gotta go do something serious, like clean the coop :p

I noticed this morning that even though the grey button-up i bought is exactly the same cut and brand as the white pin stripe, it rustles. I am probably gonna fidget; Hi, nice to meet you *rustle* So i want to work at your company because *rustle, rustle* i really, uh, ..........*rustle* lol.

So i ditched it in favor of a dressy black t shirt in a nicer blend that has a nice front detail, and a mid length loose skirt in a dusky blue/ grey color. The skirt is kinda risky for a "blue collar" job, since you don't want to look like you are one of those girls who don't like to get dirty, but jeans seemed too casual and my black dress pants made it look more like i was on my way to a funeral...............lol Hopefully the loose but nice vibe of the outfit will make it look more like hey i always wear makeup at whatever in the morning. What? This old skirt? lol The only other good t shirt option was too tight, that might look like a "tart" eh, Nova? lol. Haven't forgot that reference :)

Been a long time since i took care to make an outfit. :) Jeans and t's, here! (Or long prairie skirts just because i can lol) I keep reminding myself that it very well may be my first wage negotiation, though :) She seems nice on the phone, i think i can get this :)
 
So, I guess I forgot my #1 rule (well I sorta always do...). Don't fall in love with a mama's baby chicks. I did fall in love with my little yellow NN and today he's gone. :(

But, I also got a good look at some of the 6 week old Millie Fleur Booted Bantam/Golden Campine (they're very...different...looking. sort of just a Golden Campine with feathered legs and lighter colors) crosses and only one is a roo which is better than I was expecting so

Oh, and we're going to the Renaissance Festival today, but mom says I'm not allowed to bring evil Mr.Ders to release upon the unsuspecting patrons. muhahahahahahaha lol
