Fuzzy's Farm

Well, I just asked on the MI thread if tap was doing it and what feed she is using to do it. I am interested in maybe trying it. I wonder if the fermented feed eleminates/reduces internal parasites... I guess I will have to read that darn thread afterall..

Awesome nova, thanks for doing that!

I got the info from another source, saved it to my computer for later references, and then though hey, how many people are always asking the same questions over and over, me being one of them, I will post a page here. I could just have done a thread too, but, a member page was a lot easier.

Fuzzy> isn't your the camper coop? Couldn't you get a gallon of that roof sealer they make for manufactured homes and what not? Next warm day might work. Then you wouldn't have to worry about winter winds tearing it.
Yes, i dumped about half a bucket on that this spring!!! It just keeps finding new ways in. I really want to do a roof-over. Would take about 4 4x8's, and i think DH's dad has some shingles he may let go cheap if the theiving neighbors haven't already gotten them. Unless i can find some corregated plastic stuff for cheap.

Nova, i have been pondering your worm dillema, and if i were in your shoes i might try to get Carl to go in on a bottle of ivermectin to share. (Assuming they were roundworms) If he don't do his at the same time, they will get them right back. Also the ivermectin is supposed to do the lice as well, so it would be good all around and he could still eat his eggs. This may be what i get next too. I couldn't get the millie snots to eat their worm meds, and since i didn't do their de-bugging at the same time i see my big girls have them back. Uugh. They don't mix, but close enough, i guess. I have to wait until this tylan is gone, i have a day or two left. So 5-6 days worth of dosing? They ran right through it. I may save the last bit to give to little Sharma for a couple extra days, she is much improved but still a tad raspy. Ty for the link, i'll add it :)

Fermented Feed. Well, i have been pondering how to as well, not for the feed itself but to ferment wheat germ. Expensive, but it is one of the only natural things known to kill MG. It was recommended to cancer patients as well, it is an excellent immune helper and supposed to be a very strong anti-bacterial! I don't know that any one thing alone will prove to be effective on MG/ CRD, but this would go a long way towards helping, especially this time of year!
