Safe safe Silver-
if anyone ever gets the chance to buy a power inverter- you should. I have one. I plug it in the vans cigarette lighter, then it has an outlet for a wall plug. The main reason is because of stupid power failures and incubators.
certainly you cannot run your vehicle indefinitely, but it helps to keep temps from dropping drastically.
If you can keep your temps up and the babies hatch well, keep them in the closed incubator. Remember they can go three days without food, and you can preserve your temps inside better than in a brooder.

I think he cut the roof of his mouth. There's a streak of blood running down his throat. Whenever he crows it sounds like he's being attacked by a hawk or something. Then he kinda hunches over and stays for a second before he straightens himself out. My first thought was wry neck but he can stand and walk fine most of the time, it's right after he crows that he acts like it hurts. He's not eating. Does anybody have an idea of what I can do to make him feel better or what he can eat that won't hurt? I feel so bad. He's my Baby Boy..........
