I predicted an ice storm (days ago) from all of this... I really hope it doesn't happen!!!

Tried watching real TV last night... I can't do it!!! Political ads and the news...

THEN BF starts watching Conspiracy Theory...

How can people watch that stuff and still have hope?

Ditto this. I have stopped watching that stuff. Depressing.

How is everyone on this blustery morning? It's just WEIRD outside! In Flint, it's sleeting....super windy...generally nasty.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ders has gape worm..........But he's doing better this morning. He's standing up normally, and when he crows he doesn't fall over, so that's a good sign. He's breathing normally, and he's not holding his beak open. I think we're going to Orchelen's today, so I'll get some wormer. I forget where I read it, but somebody did a study and I forget what they used, but when they treated it by day 3 they had a 94% success rate. So, I'm hoping he'll be okay.

I have him separated from everybody for now. He was so sweet. I put him in his kennel and he ran out and hopped into my lap. So I held him for awhile. I never thought I'd say this, but I kinda miss going out and having him attack me.........

I read that adult turkeys carry gape worm. I wonder if the wild ones in the yard gave it to him. I'm going to check as many as I can catch tonight and see if they have anything. :/

Good morning Wynette
Sleeting here too for about the 4th time. My porches are white. I have a fire going in the fireplace and sipping on a cup of hot chocolate so it is at least decent in here. I sure buzzed through my chores this A.M. Wind chimes are blowing sideways. Should take them down. Some schools around here were closed or delayed. Thankfully we still have power although lights have been flickering since last night.

Bleck. It's pretty nice here actually. Clear skies, not too cold. Probably should start a fire soon though.....

My MIL didn't sell any... bummer.
She sells her cross stitch and a lot of people pass her booth up because it is not something they are interested in anymore.
However, she does beautiful pictures from photos
