LOLOLOLOL!
A rooster crowing in the middle of the night would have me wondering what the heck was in the coop!
Oh my! Look at all the poofballs! Nice
HEHE, it was a were-chicken!
How long have ya had these goats?Seems like it's been a loooong time since I've gotten on. And it took forever to catch up with all the chattiness - LOL! So worth it though. I learned about olive oil and impacted crops = thank you Nova. And werechickens, hmmmm. I got home from teaching really late last night and there was this huge crashing in the forest. Now, I know it was probably a deer but you should have seen me hightail it to the house. Big scaredy cat that I am - ha.
And I have to stand up for the goats. We have pygmys and nigerians and they never escape. They bounce around like crazy but they never go over, or under, or around, the five foot fence. They are such good goats and tons of fun. We go out and sit lawn chairs in the pen and they will climb on our laps and want to be petted. Big babies! We love them so much and they are so good with the grandkids. And the chickens and the goats watch each other (they share a common fence) and even talk to each other. Goats rule!!!![]()

Those are beautiful chickens, Mom2. How's Kayla today? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for answers at her next appointment.
Weather, geeesh! It was ninety two days ago and then dropped down to mid eighty's. I really jealous of your cold weather and can hardly wait until it cools off down here. If it ever does...This is horrible....
Nova, do you leave the heat lamp on in the coop all winter?
