Knave thanks giving paper, always huge, bandage to do my weekend only paper too because of thanks giving. So, its like 2 Sundays this week starting tomorrow morning.

hi all. no time to chit chat...just wanted to tell you-

I heard my chickens freaking out- and I look out the window and a big grey cat is chasing them everywhere- I "unleashed the hounds"- and my dogs were clueless.. get what? What Mom? what? dumb jerks. I have banties on the roof- chickens alll over the place but all are accounted for.

I am leaving my dogs outside. They need to watch my poor freaked out girls. And I will set me a cat trap this evening with some smelly canned cat food in it; This is one cat that will go away...

update:

Moms Medicare won't pay for her to be in the hospital anymore. And the doctor told me if I take her home she will get a blood clot and die (yes he said it just like that). So she has to go to a nursing home for three weeks so she can get blood thinners and iv antibiotics And eventually physical therapy.

Its Gardn City Hospital- and the dr said her white count has dropped. 24 hours after that, Medicare doesnt pay- she has to be discharged. I really dont have the time for a bureaucratic fight or the energy. They are moving her out today, while I am at work. I spoke with the doctor yesterday for a big thirty minutes. Dr House said her pain is not warranted- that people with their knee replaced - to quote him- bone sawed OFF, are up and walking two days later- and that she didnt have that done. He implied she shouldnt be in this much pain. I told him that he hasnt been blessed to know my mother- she doesnt ever take more than a Tylenol Arthritis for pain, she doesnt whine or complain, and she has a crazy high pain tolerance. For her to be hurting like this- its NOT normal. I agree. I told him they are missing something. He disagrees. She is depressed. They took out the urinary catheter, took out her 'push the button' pain medication. Now she has to get up to use the bedside commode. It takes two people to lift her- takes a long time. It hurts her so much, and she is weak. Its really hard. And they are running IV fluids so she has to pee alot- four times last night. Mom isnt trying to 'milk the system' or get extra pain meds. She hates the feeling that the meds give her. Im so frustrated.

They had to give her blood yesterday. She is pretty upset about that- worries about getting disease. They say they test the blood, then made her sign a form stating she is aware that she could contract HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis, etc. She was mad about that.
