FYI: Poultry fencing @ Lowes

I was online trying to scope out who had the best price for poultry fencing/chicken wire to redo my fence with.

At Lowe's online site they have 4' X 150' 1" diameter hole galvanized poultry fencing for $35+! When I called the store the same stuff is listed at almost TWICE that price. The guy I talked to in Outdoor & Garden couldn't believe that was the online price! So I purchased it online and pick it up at the store and I get the online price!

So in case you're looking for fencing, check out the online store site first!

I don't need but about 60' so I figure I'll advertise the rest of the roll on Craigslist to sell for probably $25!

UPDATE: I purchased 8 rolls of 36"X50' of galvanized poultry wire (not hex wire, this has 2"X 3" holes) for $4.23 a roll. I don't know what I am going to do with ALL of it, but it'll come in handy later I'm sure.

Now I'm thinking it depends on what area you are in. I just followed the link for the wire you purchased Jenniemig, and the price listed for me was $27+ per roll.

So I'm guessing prices must be region or area-specific.

Yeah, I had the same deal when I needed 2 windows they no longer kept in stock. It would take them 3+ weeks to order and recieve them at a cost of nearly $500. I looked online. I can order them and have them shipped to the same stinkin' store in less than 2 weeks. Total cost, less than $300.
