No idea. The place I got them from just orders a bunch of the different “assortment picks” from Hoover’s. I think they said mostly the colored egg variety and the brown egg layers with maybe a few rare breeds mixed in. At the store they were packed in pretty tight and under the red lamps it’s hard to get a great look.

Thanks! They join the group I got last week: Tenders, Soup, Pot pie, Nugget, and Cacciatore.
I also have 5 solid white chicks that my cousin hatched for her class that I can’t differentiate yet(that will actually probably end up as dinner- especially any Roos), but if I end up keeping any of those she has picked the names Lemon Pepper, and Roasted.

We fail chicken math every semester if we go in for 2 we're coming out with 8 and that's after we have lost or sold 4

Chick days always catch us off guard don't they?
I was shopping for hatching eggs today. Looking for some for a friend for her birthday, but I found myself looking for breeds I want hoping to, snatch a few eggs from her birthday present to give to my broody.
Then I go to the feed store and end up scouring the chick bins for any injured or sick chicks because then I have no choice but the bring them home.
