Galvanized roof on bottom of run

Hey I am wondering if anyone has tried putting galvanized roof on the bottom of a chicken run (like in the picture)? The run will have a skirt of hardware cloth that comes out two feet. I wonder if it would help discourage predators because they can’t see in as easily. But I worry about it blocking wind for ventilation in the summer. Any thoughts?

Not sure if it'll visually deter predators but it probably does provide some additional protection (like raccoons can't reach in through it). It shouldn't cause ventilation issues as long as the rest of the run walls are open mesh.
