Galvanized steel in Texas

As my chicks are growing, I’m looking for a different feeder. The galvanized steel feeders look convenient, but I wonder if they get insanely hot in Texas’ summers?? The ones where the chickens put their heads in the rain guard looks like it might work for MY needs, but I don’t wanna cook my chickens. (At least not in the coop). Just kidding. These are my pets.

Unless they're in the sun they wouldn't be any hotter than the ambient air temperature.

My coop is too small for my feeder and waterer so I made them a shelter to keep the rain out.

They get hot if sit out in the sun. Hot enough to burn ya.
