I'm sorry you will have to start your hatch late..

However, I'm glad to hear that you caught it as fast as you did and it wasn't enough time for your eggs to warm up just to have to cool back down... Definately let us know when you get them going and I'll be thinking warm and fertile thoughts for you!

thank you so much terry for all.
but i think that our eggs will hatch just with 24 hours differences, won't it?

i'm not going to force my eggs set now with these unbelievable thermohygrometer. that's just ki** them not help them.
yap, i just realize that the styrofoam hold heat very good even with 5 watt lamp and 4 vents opened. amazing thing it is.

i know you have wait for your eggs for so long time and that's looks like a "gift" when the mail lady went to your house and you took them. good luck for you.

Yes.. If you set them tonight in the next 12-14 hours, then they will be only a day difference in hatching.. As for the "gift", it was but then again it's one of those gifts that you get say in "october" and it says "do not open til christmas!"

cause if you set it in oktober and open it on christmas, em, i think we'll get dead chicks, don't you?

Yes.. You would be correct.. I'm sorry.. that was my fault.. I was meaning the length of time you had to wait and what it felt like... Did not mean it literally...

no, no problem at all. that was my fault, i didn't think it as the length of time to wait.

i heard that your eggs is doing well, then you should just need to ensure temp is steady for 1 hour before you get sleep, oh, tonight, not now since that is morning in USA now.
big_smile.png

I have to say that this is just the coolest thread ever. "Cool" not meaning temperature but "cool" as in it makes me smile.

Please know that people from all over the world are wishing you success with your incubations.

I cannot wait until the day when we can congratulate you on becoming a chicken daddy!

o ow, actually the temp also get too cool when i woke up this morning (em, night at USA) it got 36,7 deg only when i woke up so i turn the other lamp on to increase the heat and i'm going to get new hygro or thermo or both of them today at medan city with "shadow of fear of power failure" when i leave them.

nice to hear that
big_smile.png
but now only 4 duck eggs are remaining on my first bator. i haven't set the new bator. then maybe i can make a duck daddy of course without mud on my face caused by ducks.
lol.png
thank you for wishing me success.

oh my, i'm suffering from waiting them hatching, i want they survive although they suffer power failure, i just want them can hatch normally like all people's bator in USA. i just get afraid more and more everyday when turning them.
hu.gif

just have them set in in stryo bator.

i'm just wondering if i can put the 4 duck eggs that now reach the 15 days into a new bator so i can have 2 thermohygro in same place so they can "help" each other to correct the temp/humidity error reading. how about that? so, (if
hit.gif
) when the duck eggs reach 25 days, i can grab them out and use the old bator to hold them and bump the humidity up to high level. please give me advice, suggestion and opinion. any help would be highly appreciate.
big_smile.png
thank you.

update : only 2 duck eggs looks like to survive, since i just candle them, i only saw 2 eggs have very bright vein and embryos moving, 2 other just black at all with air "space" on top. OMG, why this happen....................................................

Yes mulia24 , you should be able to do that the next time you turn them, so that you don't have to open the incubator any extra times. Do it quickly but gently and they should be fine.

Sending you and GreenGoddess great hatching luck.

Oh, and your eggs look beautiful!!!
