I got ansy for some chicks a few weeks ago so went and picked a few up in atwoods assorted bantams bin. Im not familiar with my chickens and I'm having trouble figuring out what this one is. She looks like a game bird. I have no idea what you'd call her color but its beautiful. I'm looking for either what kind of chicken she is or what you'd call her color. Thnks:) :barnie:fl

They do come in other colors:
That's the truth.
Don't they have about 716 varieties?
Ok kidding but they do come in a ton of colors/patterns.
Thinking there's close to 30 recognised varieties.
Check in an OEGB thread someone that raises them would surely be able to recognise slight differences in patterns that may conclude to the variety.
If its an OEGB most of use aren't going to be as accurate or able to recognise the chick down pattern as early as the ones that breed and/or show
