Okay so I am a victim of TSC blindly asserting chicken breeds so I have 14 chickens that were supposed to be 4 sexlinks 5 cubalaya pullets and 5 bantams. What I actually got were 5 buff Brahmas 3 pullets 2 cockerels. 5 Game Fowls 3 pullets 2 cockerels. And 4 sexlinks. My question is I have read that game fowl roosters will fight to the death with other roosters. Is this true? They have all been together since they got home from the store and I have not seen any aggression yet and they are 13 weeks give or take a few days.

This thread likely better for your needs than the jumbled get togethers like the other thread.

Below is what I do with some of my pens that out in the open. They are moved frequently and are kept spread out. If approach used then do a real good job of anchoring the pens. My favorite design has flat top with a piece of heavy carpet that blows off in high wind leaving pen in place. Lots of problems when pens roll to release birds.

I even use same approach with hens and groups of young birds. It does make for more work, but the birds are generally cleaner looking.

Pens in setup below anchored to elevated nest box. If you had only one rooster, then you could let him out to forage and he will often go back into pen in the evening so you can close it up.

I would be hard core keeping predators away from pens. Also be feeding birds that are less processed than those typically used for backyard and commercial production birds. Keeping pens in shade good, but can complicate predator issues.
