Game Starter Protein Question

I read that turkey poults should get 26% - 28% protein. A local feed store sells 30% protein game bird starter. Is 30% too much protein or will they be ok?

That will be fine. Poults need at least 26% to get an optimal start. 30% is fine for the first month or 2.

We use 28% game bird starter for the first 3 months then drop down to a 20% start n grow for another 3.

What will 30% protein starter do to chickens? Will it harm them? Anyone know? The reason that I'm asking is because my turkey hen hatched out a chicken. Somehow a chicken egg got mixed up with her turkey eggs. I hate to take the little bitty chic from the turkey hen but if the higher protein will cause harm to the chick I better move her from the others.
