GAMES FOR EGGS and other fun prizes

@cjwaldon
First pip... can't see well, but I just barely had lid up to check for pip's... the sparkled egg is first pip... (I dropped my flash light into the brooder hitting a couple eggs) that one was at around 10-14 days of development...I just grabbed whatever was nearby to quickly cover the break (you guessed it, clear sparkled nail polish lmao) I'll be keeping a close eye on Sparkles...

Yay  Go Sparkles!

Looks like my Ice Chest Bator isn't hold humidity as much as I'd like because the to trying to zip we're getting stuck to the shells, so since I had it opened I quickly checked the other eggs, pulled the 2 no movement eggs... both chicks died last 50ish hours and both had exposed brains... wth, haven't had that happen since I started...and no deformities with the incubator they were in... them I remembered there was a night before bed I noticed the screen on the incubator was all lit up, and turned out it was froze up, turn off, back on, it reset...temp was at 72, so not sure how long it was like that in that day...but according to the deformities part here on this site, high spikes early in does that... wow.. 2... can't believe it. The other two non-pip's haven't internally pip'd yet even, but are making noise or breathing motions, so I'm hopeful they are ok. One is in a moist paper towel, has the cutest little feet (not sure why I noticed that lol) and the other zip I am letting work the rest of the way out... Sparkles has feathered legs

Oh, it's ok... gonna still have at least 3... that was just crazy odds... still waiting on 2 to come out of the egg. The paper towel baby is running around, which I'll need to move it with sparkles because the prev started zip was still wet last I saw, and is in a clearly different spot now thanks to bowling with active chicks heh... guess they will be a 1 chick a day hatch... Went from zero frizzles to 2 two weeks ago(an Araucana chick is turning out frizzle and a Silkie Chick-I'll be selling that one though), and then these possible... will be cool :)

I can send you eggs from fibro frizzled hens covered by leghorn rooster if you want to try again?

I pulled all mine out of the brooder. Final count, 10 of the 12 chicks are frizzled! Yipee!!

CJ, I bought one of your early auctions for the fibro frizzled. I know one for sure is frizzled, wing feathers are curling back already. One is dark faced blue with fuzzy feet and apparently smooth feathered. I don't think the rest are all frizzled, but they are all black other than the one blue. I look forward to watching them all grow!
