OH NO!! countless pullets THE HORROR!!!I know the feeling as soon at we get freezing weather everyone goes into general population as I've got one big waterer in going to put a heater in and that's it. I can't afford to run 20 heaters...lol.
I'm hoping to get my svarts separated and get some chicks but again I don't want to raise chicks in the house...
On another note, I've got a bone to pick with @cjwaldon , these birds I got from you have produced countless pullets in brown and in isabel, one isabel rooster who is ugly as sin, and 2 brown roosters...

Oh no! I would've bawled! Hopefully it keeps developing for you. I'm sorry the CCL aren't doing good at all though. I really wish I could ship. I may look into the NPIP alternative testing in the spring.
My CCL girls are driving me crazy. They know that I'm setting eggs on Friday...so I have 2 from themThat's out of 4 girls since Sunday lol. Hopefully the new roo is doing his job and gives me some decent babies. I'll be saving their eggs this week and next week, then I'm releasing everyone back into the flock. I only have so many heated water dishes and winter is coming *bleh*.
My lavender ameraucanas are even worse! They've been seperated for over a month now. They weren't laying yet but were close. I got one egg comb them last week and I was super excited. I haven't gotten a single one since lol. That one is developing though so I guess that means they're fertile lol
