Thanks! These babies are a little bigger now & even more adorable! My friend asked if I would pick out an assortment & raise them til she set up a coop & run for them at her new place. I only get to hug & love them for maybe one more week then I have to give them to her.

Got this little cutie from your auction eggs. The post office was not kind to them and only 2 hatched, and 1 made it. The little guy is with his/her adoptive silver laced orpington family to keep from being lonely! so cute, so black, and first of my wish list to check off! Your packing was fine btw but post office scrambled them. This little guy is pure black, the red hue is the lamp

Mine are 9 days in. Had half with blood rings and half with good veining at the moment. Your packaging was awesome! I think the postal service just shakes them too much. My other shipped eggs of silkies earlier this year went about the same. Good news is you definitely have fertility.

The silkies I got off eBay earlier in this year had 50% clears which limits the chances significantly. There's only one egg I'm not sure if it's clear or good bc it has (speckeling???) when I candle it, so hard to see the yoke. (Not sure what the correct term is for it, but when u candle the one egg is blotchy through the shell). I'm hoping my ones with good veining make it through hatching! So excited!

The post office is rough. Have had both 0 of 12 and 12 of 12 hatches with mailed eggs. Its a crap shoot, which facility they hit, who is working etc. Some are good employees others couldnt care less.

I always try to catch our favorite mail carrier&give her fresh garden items or ty cards. She always wraps packages in plastic if it's raining so they don't get ruined. SO professional&appricated!

Tonight's game is "What Breed am I?"

Tonight I have six Ayam Cemani and six Isabel & split Leghorn eggs available. We'll have two winners tonight. The first winner may choose which breed. The second winner will get the other breed. Unless you're really good at this game and get both.

• I will give a clue, and each player may post one guess.
• Additional clues will be posted every few minutes.
• You may only post one guess for each clue given.
• If your guess post is edited, your guess is disqualified.
• The first person to post the correct answer will get an "egg" laid in their nest.
• Once a player has six "eggs" in their nest, they win that game. There will be two games tonight.
• By playing, you agrees to pay a small fee if you win. Tonight's fee is $20 if you win one game, or $25 if you win both games. Only the winner has to pay. Fees are used to cover postage and packing materials. Playing is free.
• Prize must be claimed within 60 minutes of the end of the game or playing session. "Claiming" a prize includes sending payment and shipping information.
• Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Winner may not carry over prizes for future ship date.
• Limit one shipment per 30 day period. Win both games tonight if you can!
• "Eggs" will not be carried forward from tonight's game. Next week everyone starts with an empty nest.


Game starts at 9:00 PM. I'll try to not be late.
