I pulled all mine out of the brooder. Final count, 10 of the 12 chicks are frizzled! Yipee!!

How do you know already that they are frizzle?

CJ, I bought one of your early auctions for the fibro frizzled. I know one for sure is frizzled, wing feathers are curling back already. One is dark faced blue with fuzzy feet and apparently smooth feathered. I don't think the rest are all frizzled, but they are all black other than the one blue. I look forward to watching them all grow!

I guess I got all the frizzleds! Between the two of us the ratios are more of what I expected. I was sure hoping this grouping was producing mostly frizzleds. My next hatch is due this weekend, then up to two weeks to see which ones are frizzled.

I could end up with more frizzled out of the batch, only one has enough feather length to be certain amongst the blacks. What made that lovely black headed blue feather footed baby?

The cull AC rooster has one little feather on each leg. He must be throwing it. I got one, too.

I'll check the hens this weekend. I suspect what I'm dealing with is recessive feathered leg genes, which would explain why I'm having a hard time getting rid of feathered legs.

So I got 3 survivors of my botched incubation, 2 with feathered legs (which I'm ok with, but sounds like you want to know these things)... I was thinkin you had them hatch and New once dry they were frizzle, I was thinkin, wow, that's a neat trick heh... the three are eating and drinking fine as far as I can tell... so it's wait n see on some wing feathers to report the frizzle to ya. Look to be 3 black as of now too, if you wanted to know that as well.
