Gander attacked by Neighbors dog! Please Advice

I am so sorry you lost your gander!!!!!

You learned a lesson the hard way, dogs when they want something will find a way! I had two big dogs come up to our peacocks were in their pen. They jumped at the door so much they got it open and went after the peacocks, 3 flew into the trees and the younger dog had the peacock in his mouth when my husband got out there with a BB gun and shot the pup in the butt. It did not hurt him because of so much hair, anyway he let the peacock go and took off with the adult dog.
They can climb and jump when they want something bad enough.
I sure wish you had not had this happen! Best of luck to you finding another gander soon for you girl..............

So sorry to hear of your loss. I know the feeling of loss as a bobcat got my Swedish blue duck I had for 11 years. Miss him dearly. It also killed my sisters two ducks and hurt one of my hens. Again so sorry.
