Suggestions? Improve your pens. Find a new home for the drake so that the abuse stops or do the same for the gander.

he has so much personality

Will reconstruct the inside of the pen to eliminate the houdini effect from the gander.

When my gander and drake were fighting through the fence I put up a board fence made by me which wasn't very pretty [scrap lumber] but it kept them from seeing each other and helped the wounds to heal. also a tarp or some other kind of material would work as a barrier.

I love this welshie drake and i don't want to let go of the gander. I will try building the barrier higher and will hang a tarp over it.
