Gardening and Duck Poop

Alright...so, we've made a raised deck with a plastic "pond" set in it for our 5 ducks. This weekend I'm going to install a hose to drain the water out and planned to have it help feed the veggie garden. Another option (that seems like a better idea) is to have it all go to our compost box instead. Can anyone offer any advice on how long we should wait before using the duck water on plants? It's not 100% poop, it's diluted of course, but we'l never know how diluted or how much poop there really is in those ponds. Thanks!

I just scoop water from the duck pond and use that to water the base of my plants.
