Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

Was that elderly woman A GOOD NEIGHBOR,,:hugs, or a BAD NEIGHBOR,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:idunno
She was not a close neighbor and she did give me some Black Walnut seedlings that came up in her yard. She was also well aware of why I was giving it away.

when i first moved up north fil and mil had a couple of black walnuts, they sure made a mess they were planted on a bank that i had to walk down always had to watch not to step on one or i would fall they finally cut them down since they no longer used the nuts if i want to shell the nuts all i have to do is drive around all kinds on the roads would rather buy them already shelled

It is not SPRING yet,,,, but was nice temps,,,, so I took out some of the plants from the utility room for fresh air, and light.

looks like a pussy willow to me maybe a weeping one

Last summer I planted some Holstein Rhubarb seeds. I did not get around to transplanting one of them last fall. Around December it withered away and appeared to die off. I kept the soil moist all winter in the greenhouse and was rewarded a week ago.
