I enlarged the pix and still do not see a Wild Turkey. Time to seek NEW GLASSES.
Last I remember they have 2 legs, not 4.

I used to have a single Wild turkey hen that came in every spring to breed with my toms. She would then lay a clutch of eggs down in the field and stay until she hatched her poults. She did that for seven years in a row but is probably dead now since she hasn't been back for a couple of years. She would have probably been one that first year so 8 years old should be a ripe old age for a wild turkey hen.
There is no turkey in my avatar. I was just responding to @CapricornFarm comment about having wild turkeys in her backyard.I enlarged the pix and still do not see a Wild Turkey. Time to seek NEW GLASSES.

Yeah, that one is in the kitchen cupboard.
I did see her poults. I have no way of knowing if her poults survived to adulthood. She never brought any other turkeys with her during her visits. It has now been two years since any Wild turkeys have shown up. I did however have a neighbor's turkey show up last year after his flock was scattered and partially killed by dogs whose owner felt it was okay to just let them run loose. She had been missing for at least 3 weeks before she showed up here. He was really happy to get her back.Sweet. Did you ever see her poults? Wouldn't it be sweet if her daughters continued this habit!
