Yes, we have the same problem. Funny, I never remember them coming in the house years ago, but once we moved back to MN from out of state, we have had them coming in the house every fall. So annoying, and I have been bitten by them many times, too.
It's only been bad in the last 10 years or so. Before that they were never a problem, than suddenly it was crazy. This winter hasn't been too bad and we didn't see many last fall.

I went shopping! Got a bunny, a shirt and a hoe. I have been looking for one of these for years!

I bought one two years ago. Mines deadly sharp, be careful using it is my advice. It didn't work as well as I had hoped.

I don't have strong arms and shoulders anymore so I found it difficult to maneuver. I handed to my husband who used it quickly. Better to let him do my weeding these days.

I'm still looking for that perfect long handled weeding tool, so far I haven't been successful.

Have you tried that one that has 4 claws and you twist it? My Dad liked the one i bought him.

I have 2 of these. Garden Weasel. It does require some power, but also does a nice job in softening/pulverizing up hard soil. One on long handle, and other short handle. The tines can also be removed so you can use less than 3.

We have one of those - Hubs really likes it. I find it difficult to use because it's hard on my hands. I wish I had something with a long handle that could pluck weeds from in between flowers without bothering them.
