Might be a strawberry tree? Try googling that. I have one but its not blooming yet.

It’s a garden quince. I keep most of the branches trimmed of because I’m trying to make it grow braided.

I reported three trees I found a grub eating the roots on my kumquat. I have added micorrhize to keep fungus at bay and I have some beneficial nematodes coming next week. I think grubs are also attacking my apple trees. They have not come out of dormancy yet.
Anyone have any suggestions. They are still alive. I brode a couple twigs to check them.

The late freeze we had this year killed one of my forsythias.

Working on this section today. There are plants under there, I’m sure. Also a whole lot of wild violets to dig up.

This is not a feasible suggestion, but these guys eat grubs.
