No rain today for us but it looks like we may be, possibly done with the 90's (I hope).

We had a couple of good thunder storms with pelting rain last night. Much needed.

we have a downpour here, was worried that my chickens would get really wet cause they're in a make shift cage but they stayed nice and dry thank goodness, they say we're going to get more storms today

We got squat, just some occasional sprinkles yesterday. We need the rain BUT I'm digging out the pond since is is all but dry. Rain would start to fill it up (which IS desirable long term) but then I couldn't work in it again. On the gardening theme, I'm pulling weeds (cattails) out as I dig.

I was out pulling weeds from the driveway and fertilizing plus watering some of the flowers and bushes. Pretty bad when you need to weed the driveway! Hubby just weed whacks them, but that doesn't solve the problem.
This afternoon there is a pop up shower, which the garden will benefit from.

We just grate our driveway a couple times a year. I personally like that strip of weeds up the middle but husband doesn't.

Hubby let me ride HIS mower yesterday, and I didn't break it!!! Lots of good clippings for the runs, and garden. Rain a bit last night, and overcast/sprinkles this morning.
