I don't know if I mentioned this here.
I am putting casters on all of my power tools.
I did the table saw already. I just finished this 4" jointer.
It is lying on a table. those are 3" wheels. two have brakes.
next will be the 6" jointer.

I've done that, both as you have or with "kits" that come with wheels, you supply the 2x4s cut to the needed length. I'd be in BIG trouble if I couldn't move the tools around. Not as convenient as a massive workshop with enough room for everything but that isn't what most of us have. And it seems almost all of them need a lot of linear space like minimum 8' infeed and 8' outfeed plus the tool.

that is so true,
I am making all of the tops come out to 38" so if
I need to, in a pinch, I can use them as outfeed
tables for the other.
I bought furniture dolly kits from Menards that
are rated at 1000 pounds. I used just the wheels.
came to about half the price of buying just the wheels.
kit cost $12.oo . I didn't need the wooden frame,
I have piles of unplaned lumber.. oak..

We like to share tips, and tricks about a variety of things here. Like things related to our chicken flocks. Items for our gardens, and similar such. I sometimes do like to search out government programs, and subsidies that may help us. Have not found any yet,,, but still looking.
But I have found something very interesting about getting a new fence installed FREE. :old All related to gardening of course.
