I planted some of those this year because you said they made fabulous pickles. The plants are very sluggish compared to my other cucumbers. It could be they like more heat earlier than what I get here in the PNW. I’m hoping to be able to get enough to pickle eventually though !
They have a longer development time than do early season cucumbers such as Early Pride and Marketmore 97.

They make a really crunchy dill pickle. They aren't as crunchy when i use them for my hot sweet pickles.

I am planning on making a batch of hot dill pickles today. The ones I did last year with the Armenian cucumbers are still really crunchy a year later.

Hot dills! Yippee! I made some myself yesterday with ordinary cucumbers. I used the usda low temp pasteurization method. DH loved the ones I did last year, said they were crunchier than usual.
