Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

I use a mix of rice, ground beef and ground pork with tomato juice as the liquid topped with ketchup and a strip of bacon. Served with mashed potatoes and gravy made from the drippings. A side of cole slaw is good too.
That sounds better than a Christmas turkey!!!!! Yum.

What size container to grow peppers indoors? Temperature needed. My house is 60-65, probably too cold
This is in a 6" diameter pot. It would do better in an 8" to 10" diameter pot.

For King Arthur they should do well at those temperatures.

I will have to try a new bell pepper plant this year. It is claimed to be an improved version of King Arthur.

X3R® Red Knight

I also have to try a new to me variety of eggplant since my favorite Nadia has been discontinued.

My peppers have not done well here.
King Arthur kicked my butt no peppers but tiny ones.
I don't get near the size of bell peppers from potted plants that I get from bell peppers planted in the ground.

The type of potting soil used is important. I have found that the ones that have the "water retaining" ingredient cause the plants to do poorly.

I add a tablespoon of azomite to each gallon of potting soil.
