I was thinking it would be cool to post about are gardens! How cool! And tell all about what, were, and how we are growning! We could post pics and all! Think it would be fun to share! And we could tell how we garden with chickens! I would like to know the answer to that! LOL

Well I have 8 Tomato plants and 5 Taylor Raspberry plants going so far.
It's been raining too much to plant much, so my garden is gonna be late this year. Supposed to storm tonight and then let up for a few days, so there's hope!
 
We just got are garden started yesterday. And it just haild on them! And i got a nice sunburn planting! OUCH! LOL Sunblock next time!

Ooohhh - you asked for it, lol!

I have planted:
tomatoes (many varieties)
peppers (man varieties)
eggplant
broccoli
onions
scallions
a bunch of herbs
radishes
carrots
beets
potatoes
asparagus
artichokes
pole and bush beans
corn
lettuce and spinach
strawberries
rhubarb
squash
pumpkins
melons
cucumbers

Everything is up and growing. I've been harvesting radishes for the past two weeks. I got the first flower on one of my tomato plants the other day and the peppers are starting to bud!

Heres what I have already started and ready to be planted into the garden:
Carrots, 3 types of snap peas, pole beans, thyme, rosemary, oregano, basil, peppers, brandywine tomatoes, and big boy tomatoes, zuchinni, summer squash, pumpkins for carving and sweet baby pumpkins for canning, cantelope, green melons, onions, sweet pea flowers, batchelor buttons, daisies, corn, cabbage, eggplant, fingerling potatoes, strawberries, garlic and sweet potatoes.

just 2weeks getting the garden ready to plant and to keep the chickens out lots of work my hubby said just keep the hens locked up for the summer omg could never do that to the girls look at my work
