Swaps went out this morning to renee and gable. And im headed out to plant again.

Got bulbs from Gable yesterday in great shape. Got pepper seedlings yesterday in the same kind of box that I got the bulbs from Angel and I thought to myself "I wasn't supposed to get the pepper seedlings from Angel, I was supposed to get them from TLWR". Then I realized that TLWR was just recycling a box that she had gotten something else from Gable in. Had me snookered for a moment though.

Pepper seedlings arrived in excellent shape. However, as it gets hotter, I would recommend a little less moisture in the bag with the plants and maybe a little more air, so that the plants don't come in contact too much with the plastic. I wrap my plants in the damp paper towel like you did, but then I wrap just the root ball in plastic. I line the box in a plastic bag and then nestle the plants in peanuts or shredded paper, that way, the moisture is retained in the leaves and the humidity is high in the box, but the leaves don't come in contact with the plastic. If that happens when its hot out, the moisture between the leaf and the plastic creates the perfect environment for bacteria to grow and rot the leaves.

I have masses of spinach seed. I plant a 10 foot row every two weeks from mid January til it starts getting hot. We eat it fresh and cooked and I freeze it for later. I guess I was sending them to myself ... lol. Happy growing.

What a load of crap. I ask for something the person responds and someone else takes what I had jusr asked for. Guess its time to shut down this swap page since the threar starter can t even send out her swaps and doesn't want to play fair.
