I have 4 three month old chickens. I just tried floating garlic cloves in their water for the first Time. One of them snatched the whole clove and took off with it. The other three chasing closely behind. Is she going to be OK if she actually eats that garlic?

Garlic won't hurt them. They aren't on a steady diet of garlic cloves.
When I put garlic in the water, I crush the cloves first to release the oils.
Some herbal wormers include garlic as one of the ingredients.

Haha they’ll be fine :lau my chickens do that ALL the time

You don't have to give them any or you can put a couple crushed cloves in every day, your choice. I doubt there is any research on the need or the desired frequency.
In the wild, they don't put garlic in their water. However they may dig and eat some members of the garlic family in their home range.
