Gave 3 week old chicks some cold water and now two have collapsed!

Hi,
Today it was blazing hot out and I thought the hens and their chicks would love some cold water. They all drank happily. Later when I returned, 2 of the 7 chicks had collapsed...still making sounds but seemingly unwell. could it be the cold water?what should I do? The other chicks are well.

Probably not, but no chicken needs Ice COLD water(if that's what it was)---fresh water out the spigot is good but ice cold water causes me to get a brain freeze sometimes if I am hot. Good Luck!!

How hot is blazing hot? More likely to be the heat than the water if it was over 90.
