I've always had chickens, as an adult, both showing and just for eggs.
I've recently got fertile duck eggs and now have 8 pekin and 1 pekin/khaki Campbell cross - ducklings.
They are a whole new ball game.
The mess and fun is amazing.
My 3 red raptors just want to meet and eat them. Not the best idea as the ducklings are much bigger than them now.
I'm looking forward to learning from you all.

They seem to be a good group. All are still pullets. They have even adopted ( feral kitten found its way into their run) a kitten without being troubled by it.
