It’s the tensioner pulley. It’s an LS1 swap. We have a new spacer coming and the recommended pulley is actually for a ford 150. We called the swap company this morning. Hopefully they gave us the correct part number.
 
This is my chore this week. Modernizing all the lights and flashers on the bug. designed and 3d printed some mounting blocks that attach with magnets for the relays. I'm just spending a few minutes here and there as I have time wiring up what I can on the work table, before I go fight the heat to put it in.

Bug has been running a little rough, so #3 and I rebuilt the carbs, changed plugs, did valves, and dialed it back in this weekend. Also critical safety equipment installed

Sweet! Purple K, halotron or fe36 would be a clean agent but at least you'll save all your electronics and aluminum by not using abc.
