Geese aggressive depending on the color of our shirts

Gee, everybody's a fashion critic these days! Honestly, I have heard of geese objecting to certain items of clothing -- gloves or boots, for example -- but colors?? That's a new one for me.

Of course, I love my geese so much that if they did object to my clothes, I'd probably go in the house and change!
When I wear my blue stretched pants my Geese is aggressive with me and when my husband only wears his white tennis shoe she does this. So we don't wear them around her. Didn't find any information on this either. So I just don't wear them around her actually change clothes. Anything for my babies.

This thread is hilaious! My whole flock (ducks and geese) is very skeptical whenever I have a hat on, or heaven forbid my headache ice pack. The seem terrified. 😆
My geese are the opposite, I'm always wearing a hat. One day I forgot it and couldn't for the life of me figure out why they were looking at me like I had grown a second head. One of them was so scared she even ran out of the pen and fled into the pond, poor girl 😭

A few months ago my partner decided to get 2 geese, male and female Grey geese. I'm not a big fan of geese but he wanted them. They were friendly at first and I made sure to bring them treats. But after a few months, they became quite aggressive. I stopped going back to their area and left it up to my partner because aggressive animals stress me out. I tried to still give them treats but in between eating their treats, they'd come back to hiss at me. One day I happened to be wearing my partners flannels outside and I passed by their area. To my surprise, they just looked at me, no hissing, no loud honking. I got closer to test it out and they still did not become aggressive. This shocked me but I haven't tested it further out of fear.

Well, my partner told me today he went out there in a white t-shirt (he usually wears dark blue flannels) and they became aggressive towards him for the 1st time! This somewhat confirms that they recognize patterns / colors, but why would they become so aggressive? I've never heard of this and I can't find much from Google. Any more info on this?
I only have a few months experience with geese but have a female African and I noticed the same with bright colors. She doesn't get overly overly aggressive but you can tell she's not liking it and approaches a defensive stance, her head starts quivering cause she's nervous. She's still not full grown so if she bites it's not too bad and I don't think she's using her full force cause she knows us but she doesn't like bright colors. Orange, red, pink (like fushia). She also doesn't like overly baggy sweatshirts/jackets. This mostly happens with my 8 year old daughter who is her absolute favorite, they take naps together they're so tight. I have her change into something with darker shades and the goose is fine. Maybe if you're geese are familiar with seeing your husband mostly wearing the flannels that's what they are accustomed with any anything else they are weary of because it's a sudden change. I know ducks are super cautious with any minimal changes to their environment but thankfully ducks will just avoid instead of taking a defensive stance like a goose. The only other time she is border line defensive is with new people she's not familiar with. But if they hold their ground and approach her with confidence (and dandelion greens) instead of running or backing away she chills out.
My 10 year old is very energetic and runs almost everywhere he goes which she's not a fan of so she'd go on the defensive when he'd approach her and he'd run. When I had him not show fear and instead of backing away, approach her with dandelion greens confidently and walk forward toward her instead of away she'd be the first to back away and accept the greens. Now she's fine with his presence, let him pet her etc .
