Me geese do lay off a bit in december but they lay almost a egg a day thats the sebastapols.the chinese loe down in january

LOL well it is only natural . to them especially. Mine stopped mating in late May but last year my oldest gander and my young Buff who was only 4 months old started mating in Sept. and mated through most of winter when they could have a pool. Crazy things.

The farther south you are it tends to open the breeding season a little longer. Chinese will lay around 60 eggs annually, other breeds tend to be less.
