I have 2 female chinnese geese that started laying again recently but its fall... Anyone know why they are laying off seasion. they tried to hatch gooslings around mid spring but failed to hatch...(figured that impo might be important) I just want to know why they would lay this late...(they are over 3 years old).

If you are in the midwest/northeast everyone seems to be having babies start laying early. Sometimes they will start "early", but stop and then restart later once light starts picking up.
A bunch of sebbie breeders are having a random drop in eggs right now too so I don't think it's just random.

Two years ago my Roman resumed laying for a few weeks in the fall. I’m not really sure what the cause is, very odd.
Tbh the wild weather up in the NE I'm expecting mine to start early too.

We had a whirlwind of snow/warm/rain. 20-60 degree swings and i'm like ugh lol. But maybe the weather plays a little role in it. I know a few people who leave babies with theirs up till October and they won't start laying till March almost guaranteed. So probably hormones if you don't let them raise at all too could be a factor.

I live in the washiton... Ive had geese for a few years and this hadn't happened... I've was leting them hatch this year but didn't work out... The weather has been off like worm/cold sunshine/rain so that could be... I was just wondering if other people had this issue and if there was something to worrie about

The climate change weather is affecting lots of birds.
My canaries have been having a longer breeding season the past 3/4yrs.
And Zebra finches that usually breed all year round are now saying bother to the coldest and hottest couple of months.
