Geese laying September

I have been on BYC 9 years and have never seen anyone mention their Embden geese laid in the fall of the year. Only Chinese. All I can say is enjoy!.

Stranger things have happened. I have an older dewlap toulouse couple that went through a brief cycle in November, 2016, in Utah. Most were frozen before I could get to them, but I hatched a beautiful gander on Christmas Day. Pair turned around and had a normal spring season the following year, and no more fall season eggs.

Well, my emden started laying her first one on the 6th this October 2018. The second one came on the 8th and right now being the 10th I am waiting for the 3rd one.

Nigeria is just barely above the equator ... geese generally lay in the late winter, into spring ...

I would doubt, but have never been there ... that they have much of a "four seasons" like we do in the USA ...

How old are these Embden geese that just stated laying The Starter?
