Does my American buff look like a goose or a gander?

I really hate to say since it's hard for me to tell unless there are certain signs like ganders have very high pitched shrill honk females have low pitched.

Lets see if @jchny2000 can guess I lean toward gander.

Any signs of mating yet?

I have two female white chinese and three males. The females have already started laying.

Thank you Miss Lydia. I actually watched Laverne lay an egg today while Lucy and Leonardo guarded the goose house. She was in there about 30 minutes and hasn't been back in since, over 3 hours ago. I'm afraid the egg is going to get too cold but it might be that Lucy is acting like she's looking for a place to lay now. I think I know what expectant fathers feel like now, I'm a nervous wreck! Chickens are so much easier. BTW my 9 year old put our hen in the swing and she loved it! Is there a way to add the video (only about 10 secs)? It's so cute and someone might get a good laugh,

Look up to where the smiley face is and count over to the left by 4 put your curser on it and it will say insert video that is all i know about doing videos. lol

Yay for eggs Congrats!!

The eggs will be fine unless you have a hard freeze if your are then take the eggs for now they will keep laying but you want the weather to be nice for brooding and hatching too. You can put a fake egg in the nest each time they lay just to keep them coming back to the same nest each time. Goose eggs are Delicious They will lay every other day and won't start to sit until they have a nice number of eggs to sit on usually 8 or more.
