Hi All!
My neighbors have 12 guineas that wander for miles. About three weeks ago, they came to our house, jumped our livestock fence, and scared my two Toulouse geese. One goose flew over the fence and went missing for over two hours. I was a mess. I've told the neighbors to try to keep their guineas on their property, but it's basically impossible. I have clipped my gooses wings, so they can no longer fly. I'm leaving for three days and a petsitter will be checking in periodically. Do you think the geese will be fine to free range in their usual fenced in area? Or should I keep them locked in their 10x10 dog kennel? What would you do? I've tried putting solar powered dog bark deterrent machines all over to scare the guineas when they wander over, but it really doesn't work. I live on 40acres completely surrounded by woods, yet they still find a way over every 5 days or so...thanks for your input!
