Good to see you Pasha, looks like it been a cold snowy winter in Russia too. lovely pics.
One month was cold -35 C every day, and sometimes -37 C. Another time we had a strange weather (for the Moscow) -2 or -4 C, or sometimes +5 C (!).Good to see you Pasha, looks like it been a cold snowy winter in Russia too. lovely pics.
Well Congratulation on your first incubation what a cutie. One month was cold -35 C every day, and sometimes -37 C. Another time we had a strange weather (for the Moscow) -2 or -4 C, or sometimes +5 C (!).
28 february i opened the door of the room where lived my geese, and give to they a "freedom". They don`t return to this room, walk everywhere. I put there a water and fodder.
Next day i open the door of another room where are my ducks and chiken (and one turkey, i had some turkeys, but now i have only one - i eated all my turkeys. I think that they was "boys", but last turkey who i eated was "girl". Unfornatelly i understood it only when she was in my kitchen yet (it will be better if i leaved two girls and one bod alive, for the eggs). Now this turkey give me a egg sometimes, but she are alone (walk width the ducks, they are friendly), and the eggs are unfertilized. I eat this eggs.
The ducks walked one day, in the evening they returned to the room. But next day they begin to walk and don`t return to the room - sleep in the garden. The weather are warm +5 C, but i find the eggs in the garden. I put the yellow grass, the fowl leave there the eggs for me.
Ah, and my first egg in the incubator hatched. Here are:
I am really happy - this is my first incubation. Next week i hope to get more little geese (i put one-two egg in the week, and they will hatch one-two in the week, not all in one day).
thanks )Well Congratulation on your first incubation what a cutie.
Gorgeous. If neither of the parents have dewlaps, but the youngsters do, could it be that the parents are related, both carrying the gene for it? Interesting bird.
Wow, Pasha, you´re kept busy there! England´s too cold for me!! I can´t imagine the temperatures you´ve all had in the States and in Russia! One month was cold -35 C every day, and sometimes -37 C. Another time we had a strange weather (for the Moscow) -2 or -4 C, or sometimes +5 C (!).

I was born here (in Moscow), and don`t know any another weather )) Only one time i was in Germany in one house of any german farmer, but i was there, hmmm, i don`t remember, 15 year ago (i was very young). Another times i never travel again, only was in some towns in the Rusia. This temperature are normal for me, sometimes when i go to my chiken-houses (where live my geeses, chickens, ducks...) i don`t wear warm clothes, wear only the shoes and go (i am too lazy for wear it every time when i need to feed my fowl).Wow, Pasha, you´re kept busy there! And what a dear little goose you have there, hope all the others hatch well.
